Assignment 22-Jacob Young
The first thought that struck my mind when I read this prompt is that the fictional character would be someone like Harry Potter and be able to use magic or someone insanely rich like Jay Gatsby. However, as I considered all of the things that make a character cool, smart, strong, and courageous, I decided on one particular character that I believe there is no dispute that it is superior to any magic or money or strength. It is the Hulk. Think about it, nothing beats the Hulk. He's much too strong to be physically defeated by anything and as Bruce Banner he is also incredibly smart. If we're going by the Hulk from the recent movies, then he is able to turn into the Hulk on command and not just whenever he happens to get angry and he doesn't even want to become the Hulk. If you consider everything that makes a fictional character great the Hulk is all of them and more. He even has the added bonus of getting stronger the angrier he is, aka the more he gets hurt. He can't be beaten by any other fictional character you can think of and that's why I would choose the Hulk if I could be any character.
