Horray for Hollywood Mark O'Brien

              For this assignment I am going to analyze one of the most successful writers and directors of the past half century, James Cameron.  The two movies I have chosen are very similar, Avatar and Aliens.  The two movies are incredibly similar, but were made in different ways.  James Cameron had the idea for Avatar long before they made the movie.  The delay was because he wanted to wait for the technology to develop to a level that he would be satisfied with.  Aliens however was mainly done using costumes and shot using props.  Avatar was computer graphic imaging. The two films share similar story lines.  Humans coming into a world that is already inhabited and attempting to take it over.  I wrote my review on rotten tomatoes of Avatar.
