Although I haven't really said a lot in English this year, I thought it still was a class where I could be comfortable to say something if I wanted to. I liked the open environment of the class. The socratic seminars were great to be a part of. I think we got plenty of practice with our times writings and practice multiple choice. Grading those essays over and over and over again really helped me know how I personally had to write to get a good grade on those essays. I believe all those timed writings and practice multiple choice questions helped me build and endurance so that I could get it done no matter how crappy I felt during the actual AP test. I think going over more technical terms for rhetoric devices could have helped, but I don’t think it’s all that necessary. What we did in class this year was sufficient. Besides, I liked the relaxed atmosphere in the class this year.
