Help! I need somebody. Help! Sloan Warner Assignment 25

Mr. Logsdon, cheers! I would like to tell you that you've done well. This year was successful and I would say I am a smarter person now than I was when I entered the cold classroom in August. There are a couple minor suggestions I have which you can do with as you wish. First, I think that when we only graded plus or minus ten essays, there was a significant improvement in efficiency. The more essays the students write, the more prepared they will be for the exam, and this efficiency should save some time to write more. I also believe there is an equilibrium in which you have read enough papers and absorb how you could have done better, and 10 essays is at that equilibrium. I don't think that many people absorbed a whole lot from essay 26 in our class packet. Moreover, these small groups are more applicable in the professional world. Yes, there will be some situations in which you are sitting in a round table setting with 30 of your colleagues, but that won't happen nearly as much as meeting in a group of 5 or 6 colleagues working together, and talking things out. It would be a good idea to keep the small group setting when grading essays, as we did at the end of this year. I would definitely keep the chill atmosphere of your class, and maybe let the students have some more philosophical discussions, even if they have nothing to do with what they are learning. Some of my favorite classes were those in which we just talked about whatever was on my mind. Thank you for being a great teacher this past year.
