Assignment 24- The Future Ji-Hae Kim

I can't believe that junior year is almost over. That means it's almost time for AP testing (haha no). My "successes" this year are getting into kung fu and girl's lacrosse. I wasn't in a lot of extracurriculars in freshman and sophomore year. This year I'm really glad that I got to join two really fun and great activities--even though that means I have no time to do anything else. I think some things I failed in this year was staying on top of EAP Mentoring... That was a mess. I didn't even know I had someone to mentor until a little while ago. I also failed in actually studying for any classes. I told myself last year that I would study a bunch junior year, but that just didn't end up happening. A lesson I learned this year was that sleep is extremely important. If I don't get enough sleep, I can't function properly--which means more and more work adds up, leading to even less sleep. I had to prioritize this year in what I spent my time doing so that I'd get enough sleep.
In the summer, I plan to go to some retreats and summer camps. I hope that I won't get too stressed out in senior year (yeah right). I hope my mentoring project will end up being enjoyable for me. What else will I do senior year? I plan to get to brown sash in kung fu. I want to join Girl Project. I want to learn how to write something using less 'I's.
