Assignment 21 Corey McMullin

At this very moment, somewhere in the universe, Norman Feller is learning about what he missed during 14 years underground. Feller, fearing the Y2K virus, went into a bunker to protect himself. Feller was not supposed to leave his backyard bunker until later this year, but he got lonely and sad, and he was curious about whether or not he just wasted 14 years of his life. He did. When this Canadian emerged, he was quite frightened by cell phones, but what impressed Feller most was KFC’s ‘Double Down’ sandwich. Sadly (for us, not Norman Feller), this never actually happened. It was a hoax on a Canadian radio show called This is That. It is what would happen if The Onion and NPR had a Canadian baby. Check out the links to hear the episode about Norman Feller, or to listen to their other episodes, such as one about understaffed police using mannequins.
