On October 1, 1971, Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida had
its grand opening to the public. This was a great event because it started the
legacy and the magic that is the Disney Parks. This affected the whole nations because
people flocked to Disney World to go and relish in the magic and fun. I appreciate
this event because I love Disney World and the magic and enjoyment it brings to
the people of the world. People still flock from all around the globe to
venture to Disney World and for this reason it is one of the top attractions in
the United States, if not the world. I know that everyone in my family and
almost every single one of my friends has been to Disney World at least once
and most of them have gone several times. Disney World has become part of our
culture throughout the years. The opening of the Orland park was huge because
it brought the era of Disney World into play, and it continues to be a
monumental today.
