Prompt 1: If
you could choose to relive the life of any person in the world from any time period, who would it be and why?
Prompt 2: If
you were suddenly sworn in as the new president of the U.S, what would be some of the first changes you
would make and why?
Prompt 3: If
were given a chance to go back and change a decision you made in the past what would that be and why?
If I
could go back and relive the life of any person, I would have to choose Neil
Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon. That kind of experience, is
something that cannot be matched in any other human story in history. Not only
the fact that he was the first person to set foot on a planetary body other
than earth, but to have the knowledge that the dawn of a new era of
understanding, the turning of a new chapter in human history hinges on you. No
one else in history can feel that kind of importance about themselves, that
kind of responsibility, not only to your country, but to the world. That's the
key difference, there are many historical figures that set out to change the
world, but all were in the name of a country or a cause. None of them ever
set out simply to advance the entire human
race into a brighter age. One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.
That is the principle for which Neil Armstrong dedicated his life for, and that
is why I would choose to relive his life.
