Create Your Own Adventure- Mark O'Brien

Prompt 1:  Why do we care about people's favorite colors?
Prompt 2:  Should high schoolers be allowed to immediately go to play professional sports?
Prompt 3:  Why do people get so distracted?

I am going to answer prompt three.  As I am writing this blog it seems that for every five seconds of typing I do I watch five minutes of the Patriots Bengals game.  If only I could multi task well enough to type, and think about what I am writing and watch the game.  I was just distracted by a general electric commercial.  How do i get distracted by something that meaningless to me.  Everybody reading this is going to think that I should just go into a quiet room and quickly finish this blog.  That doesn't seem to work either because I will sit and stare at the wall and day dream.  Sometimes I can focus for hours and get HUGE amounts of work done.  What is the difference.  If only I could be that focused every time I wanted to get something done.  My life would be much more efficient.  Does everyone generally get distracted by the same things?  I wonder if some people are distracted more by different senses.  Could smell be more distracting than sight or could hearing be more distracting than touch.  It is interesting to think about which one distracts me the most.  I feel that I am constantly being bombarded by distractions that target all of the different senses, but which effects me the most. I would guess that hearing and sight cause the most distracting circumstances.
