Assignment 2-Futuristic Expectations

In the years to come, I think it's reasonable to assume that the pace at which technology advances today will not slow down. When I was in Israel I visited the Google Headquarters. Part of our visit was a presentation of the devices and technology that Google is currently developing and the technology that Google one day hopes to perfect and invent. One of the devices that Google is developing is called NEST, it's basically a Siri for your home. NEST can do any command around your house that is connected in some way to technology. For example, if you wake up and you already had put water in the coffee machine, you could tell NEST to turn on the machine and heat up the water. Or you could tell NEST to open your fridge. Or start the oven. This program not only can just turn on or off devices in your house. Like I said before, it functions as a Siri of sorts. It can tell you the weather forecast for the week, or tell you who won the football game last night.
