The idea of technology integrating into agriculture, or vice versa, is a really promising aspect of the possible advancements to come in the future. MIDI Sprout is an incredible example of this concept. It allows plants to control MIDI synthesizers and create music. This promises further interaction with plants which is really nice for plantkin like me (someone who identifies as a plant). Robotic exoskeletons are advancing too, which means possibly one day they can connect to plants and allow them to walk and even play basketball with the likes of Shaquille O'Neal. I imagine a future where a birch tree (like myself) is the number 1 artist in the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop songs of the year 2069. This is the ideal future of technology because plants deserve the same rights as people. In the meantime I will continue to play Music For Your Plants to my Aloe Vera and attempt to culture them into being as advanced as myself.
