What is the idea of good? Rather, what does it mean not to perform good? Is that evil? What is EVIL? Every Villain Is Lemons (thank you Spongebob)?
I don't think someone's intentions could ever represent true good nor evil. Good is defined as to be desired or approved of, while evil is said to be profoundly immoral or malevolent. Now, according to these guidelines, one very well could be desired or given a thumbs up, while another may be considered to have a lack of morals. However, when most people think of good vs. evil, there are strong feelings and connotations that come with the words. Good is everything out of honest, humble, selfless intentions for the well being of others; evil with everything exactly the opposite. When one commits acts that are considered good, they gain approval and support. In this act, this desire for recognition in being good could be considered selfish or without honest intentions. And many a time, acts that cause pain and suffering, most considering these evil, almost always start with intentions of good, intentions meant to help one's own well being or well being of others.
People cannot be labeled with these titles of good and evil. The ideas do not exist in pure forms. There are always more than one side to every story. And once humans can decipher the differences and understand they cannot be seen in true light, conflicts will decrease.
