My name is Jacob Ferguson. I have sixteen years of experience with this thing we call life. And it has been a good body of experience from which I've learned a lot. I am a person with very diverse interests so lots of things geek me out (I'll say these soon). I play the bassoon in HC's Band and CKYO, run Cross Country, play Ultimate on HC's "Team", do tons of awesome things in my Boy Scout troop, and do many other things. Other things I enjoy are reading (all sorts of random books from Science Fiction to Dostoevsky to old comic books), playing videogames (really strange ones that you've probably never heard of), biking, spending time outside, hanging out with friends and family (cliché but true), making things, learning new things, traveling, watching movies (again random different ones, especially old ones), climbing trees and hanging my hammock in them, and I'm going to stop now but this list could go on for a lot longer. Pretty much all these things geek me out, but some very specific ones are Ultimate, startup businesses, 3D printing, and indie game developers.
The one superpower I want is a jungle restorative-ray just like this woman with an inexplicable skull floating next to her face.
Because that power just has so many possible uses: you can restore the jungle to the way it was before a man tried to make a gorilla super-race, or you can restore the jungle to the way it was before a man tried to make a gorilla super-race. So many options. But seriously I would want to be able to fly.
One of the most memorable moments of my summer, not meaningful, was when I pitched in two dollars to by a giant empty champagne bottle from an antique mall in Georgetown. Just to clarify again it was empty. Sorry.
