Technology - Beck

     Had I been born 20 years earlier, I think technology would have more of an impact on my life. I would come to appreciate it more that we are able to use computers, television, and cellphones everyday. 22 years ago the text message was invented. Without text messaging, life would be very different and communication between people would be a lot different. Interaction between people would be mainly phone calls and face-to-face interactions. I would honestly prefer this time period because of the accessibility to communication with others. It's so easy to communicate with people if you're not able to actually talk them. 

     Today, we also have many robots running factories and manufacturing plants. This helps with efficiency and productivity, while cutting down on injuries in the workplace. It also allows the companies to not have to pay their employees. With all of these advancements, I feel like if I were born 20 years earlier, I would come to appreciate these advancements, but also I would miss the face-to-face interactions and not use a lot of these technologies.
