Assignment 12: Brave Little Toasters - James Apo

The iPhone. What a useful and handy inanimate object it is. A good handful of people own this item, including myself. Unfortunately for the iPhone, its' point of view of the world isn't the best. Rather it is getting tapped repeatedly, dropped on the ground, either with or without a case, and even dropped in water, it has a very high risk life. It dies very quickly and has to be prodded just to stay alive. To make matters worse, it has a lot of family members and its' elders are not appreciated much anymore; only the children are hot commodities among the public. Even the babies aren't appreciated for long, because once the newborns are introduced to the world, they become irrelevant. They can be neglected for hours and not left alone for hours, depending on their user. They all have the same father, so once they realize that he is no longer around, I am sure that is quite tough on all of them. None of them have a unique voice, and I am sure being required to assist at any beckon call can get annoying; stupid Siri. Although they have a hard knock life, they manage to be one of our favorite technologies, so that is always a plus.
