assignment 14 Mark O'Brien

My family seems to have done something different for Thanksgiving every year.  This year we has our family friends, the Brenzels, over and my mother cooked the thanksgiving meal for sixteen people.  We had a putting competition and the winner won $50.  The weirdest Thanksgiving memory I have happened back when I was nine.  We were celebrating thanksgiving in Massanutten, WV with my cousins.  On thanksgiving day we went to this indoor water park.  There was one of those fake surfing rides where the water is rushing up to the top of this ramp, and we were waiting in line while girl in her mid twenties was attempting to surf.  The girl immediately fell and her top came off.  She turned to the line of people smiled and said, "Happy Thanksgiving!"  I was stunned.  At nine years old i had no idea what to do or how to act so I naturally followed my older brothers lead and laughed even though I had no idea what was funny.  Yes, I enjoy the holiday.
