Assignment 9: Beck Michul What is it good for?

There is definitely a time for war. If the threat on a community or nation is grand enough then war is needed to resolve the problem. Although war should only be used as a last resort solution, it is still necessary in some situations. There are many alternatives to war and they should always be looked at as options first. If two nations are having issues then they should first try to resolve the problem through some sort of mediation. A peace treaty could also be used to compromise. These are just two alternatives to war, but if these and other options seem to fail then war must occur for the two nations to at least have some sort of resolution. War has been the best option in years that have passed, but in other situations war was probably not the best option and other possibilities could have been utilised.
