in war, school shootings, and gang events guns themselves kill people. in the all these school shootings , guns have done the killing. since guns kill people we need to rid the planet of them. they provide nothing but violence to the world. its not the people that operate guns but the guns themselves that do the killing. for this reason we need to outlaw guns. while we are getting rid of guns we also need to outlaw knives, poison, and bow and arrows. all these things cause death and therefore should be outlawed. the people wouldn't kill if they didn't have guns and or other weapons. without guns and other weapons the world wouldn't be as much death because people would have no way to kill people anymore. in the end the guns do the killing, not the people operating them. so for this reason we need to get rid of guns instead of fixing the operator error.
