Assignment 5: For the Love and Hate of Television- Alex Cooper

        I watch television. I believe it can provide a good form of entertainment if used appropriately. It is obviously also a convenient delivery system for advertisers to send their messages to viewers but, if it weren’t companies would just figure out another way to get their message out to people. Television can be an inane use of time, just a way to advertise, and a good form of entertainment. It all depends on how you utilize it and how often you watch. There are educational programs available to keep television from being an inane use of time. If you watch too often it will become a waste of time but if you limit how long you watch then it becomes a great form of entertainment. If you don’t like the advertisements then get Netflix of just watch movies. I think most of you reading this can say that you watch Netflix and find it perfectly entertaining.
