Assignment 5 - Derrick Thomas

I watch T.V. because it provides a time of relief. With relief, I mean I don’t have to think about anything. It is a time of escape from me thinking about what needs to be accomplished. I primarily like all shows that are about comedy. I like to laugh. Laughter provides relief from the every day same old thing. Laughter makes me happy. Sometimes people can take things too seriously. Comedy helps to lighten things up and gives us a balance. I really don’t like T.V. shows that are somber. I think it is important to live life to the fullest and enjoy it. I know that everything is not always going to be good or easy, but I want to keep a positive outlook.  T.V. is a good source of entertainment. There are many options for those to choose. We are not always able to go to movies or plays or musicals and T.V. provides those options for people.
