Assignment 14- Sam Vandiver

Thanksgiving in my houses is nothing too special or interesting. My parents are divorced so I do get two of every holiday, including this one, but neither are too outside the norm. None of us are huge fans of the traditional turkey, so this year one house had lasagna and the other steak, both delicious, and both feeding everyone for several days.
Food is one of the more important things in my life, and I enjoy few things more than a large and tasty dinner, so I do very much enjoy Thanksgiving (especially since deviled eggs are just about my favorite thing). It is also, of course, nice to see the extended family - for a day. I don't have any specific stand-out memories of the holiday, but I can remember some eccentric, I'll say, significant others that have tagged along. There's a running joke in my family that if a girl/boyfriend can stick around after meeting the relatives, they're a keeper.
