My favorite inanimate object is my fuzzy socks. They are wonderful because they are soft and keep my feet warm, though I would hate to be a sock. It must be horrible. Imagine getting smashed against the ground all day and shoved into gross shoes. Socks probably have a constant concussion and serious brain injury, so living the life of a sock would be very painful.
The point of view of a sock would be fascinating, because it would always be below people and would move around a lot, so socks get to see a lot more of the world than most inanimate objects. That’s a pretty sweet deal, besides the whole brain injury situation.
Anyway, I think that being a fuzzy sock would be fantastic. Not only are you are warm and cuddly piece of cloth, but you also feel good about yourself for making someone’s day a lot better. Fuzzy socks are definitely the best inanimate objects.
