Lucas Soard- Assignment 10: BOO

In case of a zombie apocalypse, I’d do my best to become a recluse. We have a fairly good supply of backup food at my house, and a workable garden. I think this would suffice us for a while. Lots of people will rush to Wal-mart and other stores. This is a huge mistake. Thousands of others will have the same thought. Even if you make it into the superstore, and manage to get supplies, you will have exposed yourself to dozens of people, raising your chance of infection exponentially. I live near a bunch of old people, so hopefully they aren’t out much, being exposed to the infection. My family is the number one priority, and our living space is entirely upstairs, and contains a plethora of escape routes. If the zombies are slow walkers, than I think my house, with a few mild fortifications, will go a long way towards repelling the zombies. We have a safe full of old hunting guns, but more importantly, bows and knives. While we have nice, factory made arrows, the trees near my house will serve as adequate substitutes.
