Neighbor- Sloan Warner

I have the pleasure of sitting next to Derrick Thomas in English Class; however, I consider my other neighbors to be Sam and Jacob as well because we sit at the middle table (the best seats in the class). Derrick is great athlete on the football team, and I occasionally see his name in the newspapers. He is always wearing a University of Kentucky Football sweatshirt which makes me believe he is being recruited by them. Derrick is pretty care free and funny guy throwing in the occasional remark making everyone at the middle table laugh. If I could guess Derrick’s favorite color, I would have to say royal blue because he is a cool cat without any temper and he wears the color blue quite a bit. I see Derrick in five years from now being a college graduate who has a steady job. If Derrick were an animal, he would for sure be a manatee because they are friendly and get by in life. I can’t wait to spend the rest of English class this year with Derrick!
